Abstract:This research paper discussed the athletes' social responsib ilities and social rights in modern society through literature research and logi cal analysis.Meanwhile, the paper also paid attention to the athletes' social i mages and status,including the anticipation to their role of profession from re spective of sociology.As such,the social position and requests of athletes wou ld be specified,and the theoretic guide was guaranteed.Key words:athletes; role of profession; social responsibilitie s; social rights; social images; social status
